I have 8GB Ram but only 3.96 usable!

Specs:

Intel Core i7 CPU 760 2.80GHZ
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
XFX R9 280
8.00 GB Ram (3.96 Usable)

So I have 8gb ram but only 3.96 usable I have no idea why, my pc is also norwegian and I dont know how to change it just so you know.

Anyone else has the same problem?

If you have 64 bit Windows installed, check in your BIOS for an option called Memory Remap or something like that (varies from motherboard to motherboard), if you find it, enable it.

If you need more specific instructions, please post what motherboard model you have.
