Last week I installed a Corsair H110 in my Cosmos2 case. I installed it up top in the case for the rad and the fans could not be installed on the red for mb clearance. The 2 Noctua 140 fans I put on were installed on top of the case in the space where top case fans go in pull config. After hooking everything up and I rev the fans to top speed 1500 rpm,it seems the airflow when I put my hand on top it feels like there is not a lot of air moving.Even if I put a lit smoke on top of the screen above the fans the smoke seems to barely move.Is this because of the fans are in pull compared to push. I had a swiftech H220 on before the pump went in my cosmos2 in push/pull,as exhaust and I could feel a ton of air moving but with 4 fans on the the rad though. Anyway,if anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

yeah and it gives active cooling to the VRMs which you often loose with liquid coolers (over traditional coolers that provide an airflow over the socket/VRMs)

The fan only has the equivalent of about 67 cfm, which isnt all that high. the Hyper 212 EVO's fan has a cfm of 89 or so, and is better suited to push against a grill/radiator. Without anything in the way the noctuas can push a lot of air, but against a radiator it doesnt seem to be doing so great..

i think i saw the earlier post when you were recommended these..

Maybe I can mount the rad up top where the fans are now, and put the fans underneath inside the case so it pushes the air through the rad and not pull like I have now. If that is not possible I will turn the fans around and make them intake, push air through the rad into the case and set the 2 fans on the cosmos side door as exhaust. Then I will have 2 front intake,2 top rad fans intake,2 side door exhaust, and back case fan as exhaust. How does this sound.

Forgot to mention, should the back case fan have more, less,or the same rpm as the rad fans since they are close to each other. If the back fan had more rpm would it not the air from the rad fans since I have it exhausting also.

I have read somewhere if rad fans are exhausting, you can put the back fan as intake to blow cooler outside air at the rad.Wonder if that's worth trying.

I tried the back fan on intake and my temps were fluctuating all over the place. The best setup/temps I got were from 2 front as intake,2 side panel fans as exhaust, and the fans on the rad as push, intake, and the back fan as exhaust. My i5 3570k is oc'd to 4.5 with 1.208 vcore and is 28-30 cel at idle, and when running prime it gets up to 58-59 cel and never hits 60.This is where she is sitting for now. Thanks for all the tips on getting my H110 setup right.
