Can i run GTX550 Ti on +12v 18amp...

My system requirement,

Intel Dual Core E5300 2.60Ghz
4GB Ram DDR3
Windows 7 64bit
500Watt PSU(+12v 18Amp.)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 5550 Ti 1GB GDDR5.
Is this requirement right or wrong?
I am playing games...on this req.
So, My PSU or system req is enough for game?

18A on 12V line is not quite 500W, only like 216W (Since Wattage=Voltage*Amperes).
And no 18A is not enough, the recommended is 28A.

The card itself consumes only like 10A, but with other components it needs higher requirements, basically the CPU. You mean to use dual PSU?

yes brother..but only for graphic card....not whole system.....already i have 400w PSU but it has not given rails for this graphic card.... so try to do this.... so can i...

Yes you can, make sure to have enough space to physically accommodate second PSU, no issues otherwise.

i dont know brother..i cant measure.... but when i touched a graphic card..only 4 to 5 sec touch not more coz it is very heat

Yes that's fine for the GPU, use one line for GPU and another for everything else

Your PSU is fine, what do you mean by heat? GPU is bound to produce more heat on more load.

Means that when i am playing games... graphic card is heating very much...its consume more load from PSU... so i cant play the game more than 2 hr..... and than my 500W PSU is blast means spariking in.. when i start the game...

Your PSU is defective, replace it, GPU don't heat that much unless they're faulty, and you wouldn't be able to game on a faulty one for that long time.

my friends say that i have intel pentium dual core 2.6Ghz is not perfect for gaming it is a low system req for gaming...that is the reasion for graphic card heating... is that true?
