hello experts... I am new in this forum and if i commit any mistake then, plz ignore it. My NIC card aka ethernet card got damaged. So i bought a usb to ethernet device which i connected with my usb port 2.0. Now i got green light on my D link router which i wasnt getting earlier but the problem is my device manager says the device drivers are not installed. What should i do ? I am quite new with pc components. Do i need to remove the damaged NIC card from pc or should keep it as it is and do something different to make my internet working again. And if i need to remove NIC card then how can i remove it. The repair shop is quite far from here so i have to do myself. Kindly ignore the immaturity of mine and plz help.

Solution
Did the device come with a disk? If so, install drivers from the disk.

If it did not come with a disk, what is the make and model of the USB to NIC device?
