Hi,

My PC hang in no time when playing games at "high" setting.
I launched Tomb Raider at 800x600 windowed, with everything set to low. It worked just fine, even after played more than 15 minutes. But when I set it to "high" or "ultra", it instantly hang right after i click "Apply" and displays only black & white vertical lines.

I've tried another games such as Grid 2, Grid Autosport and Shift 2. My PC stops suddenly with garbaged display.

It's normal when not playing games. It was working fine before and I didn't install anything recently.
It's not overheat too, I open AMD catalyst along with windowed Tomb Raider, and the GPU temperature is only around 50-60 C before it hang.

Here's my spec : :
Core i3 4130
DDR3 8GB
Radeon 6790
PSU Enermax NAXN 500W
Hard drive WD 2TB

I'm not sure whether my aged 6790 is giving up, or the PSU, or something else.

Thanks

Sounds like the vram is going that's why when you set high settings which require more vram it messes up. Defiantly time for a new gpu
