WD Blue, Red, Green and black vs seagate

Solution
Red for NAS, Green/ Blue for budget, Black for something more sturdy, Barracuda corresponds to Blue/ Green. Black/ Green/ Blue/ Barracuda for gaming, whatever you find cheapest :)

RED are for RAID arrays (Don't worry about these, they're not for you), purple are for surveillance cameras (might be the other way round, can't remember exactly, Black are the high power long warranty fastest drives, blue are general purpose all round decent drives, green are eco friendly low power low noise drives.

For gaming I would recommend either Blue or Black, Black will be faster but more expensive, to be honest the speed difference won't really be noticeable except in benchmarks, if you can get a blue for a good price with a decent warranty (3-5 years) go for that. If you can get a black for not much more than a blue then go for that.
