I did a few things to free up space on my SSD (an older 128G model. First I deleted hybrfil.sys and used another 64G ssd to move my pagefile.sys to. I also moved a few other things to my storage drive. I recovered over 20G of space on my OS drive with Win 7 64Bit on it.

I read the links, and they are good refreshers; its because I read these links before that I decided to do some things to take stuff off my SSD. I have a desktop so I didn't need hyberfile.sys. and I used the advanced settings to move my pagefile.sys. Those two files were major space hogs. I got into the habit a long time ago of naming things on my files drive so whenever I installed something, to put it there, I just change the C letter in the custom install to F. thanks for posting the links in any case. It is smart to keep the SSD for my OS less than 75% full.
