Why did you go with an i7 and 970 when you can go i5 and 980? :)
Just a suggestion though, nothing wrong with your build.

At that point he might as well get a 1080p monitor!

I would suggest not using flipkart. There is a website called theitdepot. It offers nice prices and has a massive range of products. The 970 hasn't released yet here and will likely be here by Oct-Nov so I suggest waiting it out a bit.

i7-4790k is the lazy person's overclocking CPU. With a base of 4.0 and boost to 4.4Ghz it is practically already done. Whereas with an i5-4690k you have to sit down and actually overclock to get the performance.

It is a simple recommendation to make, even for those that don't plan on overclocking.

Not a huge difference between the 970 and 980 at 1080p either. 1440p monitors were a bit out of the budget.
