Sound on both TV and PC at same time

Hi there this might be me just being stupid LOL but i need to figure out how to have sound on both my tv and pc without having to take out my HDMI cable everytime.

For instance i like to play ESO on the pc so i have to take out the HDMI cable otherwise the sound doesnt come through my speakers,it comes through my tv.

Then other times i like to stream onto my tv so then i need sound to come through the tv which means i need to put in the cable..Isnt there a way where i dont have to take out the cable??

Its just a pain really so hope theres a solution,also didnt really know where to post this so sorry..

On the pc are you using just regular speakers? If so you just have to change the default audio device to hdmi or speakers depending on what you want. Their is even a small app available for ot. Google "windows audio switch app" or something like that and you should be able to find it.

In the following example SAMSUNG-1 is the TV connected to the PC via an HDMI cable. Speakers is the PC's desktop speakers. Select the device you want sound to come out of (i.e. active) and then click on the Set Default command button.
