Hi. I have an HDMI Monitor and a ASUS GTX 770.

Since I built my PC, everything works fine, except that when I connect my GPU to the PC and connect the HDMI cable to it, the monitor turns on, but doesn't show any image.

All cables are correctly plugged in, the GPU shows both lights green, so it's working perfectly.

When I remove the GPU, and connect it to the motherboard (ASUS H97M-E), The monitor turns on and shows the pc image as it should, and works perfectly, so my question is:

Why don't I have any image when the GPU is connected? Help me please.

PS: To install the GPU drivers, I need to have it connected to the PC.

The problem is definitely your GPU for sure. Can you try to use your iGPU (integrated one) while having your discrete GPU plugged in?

That way you can go into a program such as speccy (under motherboard tab specifically) and see if it registers the PCI-E slot being taken by the card.

Or you could try to boot into your BIOS and see what devices are currently registered as being inserted into the PCI-E slots.

I guess you could maybe try hot plugging it in if that doesn't work (putting card in while computer is on). Sometimes that does the trick.
