need broadcom network adapter for win xp

Solution
Well broadcom made more then 1 network adapter in the last 10 years so knowing which model of broadcom adapter is kind of important. Once you have the model number then a quick search for that model and wndows XP driver should get you a page with the driver (try to find something from broadcomm themselves, there are a lot of bogus driver sites and driver download programs that are adds or malware).

Another option would to be to check with the manufacturer of the computer or motherboard you are using. Their driver may not be the most recent, but speaking from experience (my Dell laptop uses a Broadcom chip for the Ethernet port), Broadcom does not make the drivers very easy to find.
