Hi there people I've been having a problem with my second R9 290 Tri-X for some time now. And i'm wondering what is the card.. Is it:

Destop Graphics,Radeon R9 Series,Radeon R9 2XX Series?

Because i think the problems is i'm downloading the wrong drivers. Please help thanks.

I would just re-install AMD Catalyst. It will automatically download the latest driver for you.

Does that second card work while your original is uninstalled from PCIE slot?

Well, are you outputting video from your primary or secondary card? I remember you were having trouble with Crossfire, and assuming pretty much equal conditions there should be no reason as to why you shouldn't have an enable cf option in CCC. PSU's don't need to be specifically marketed as cf or sli compatible to run the either of them, although you should be using an 850 watt PSU or higher with enough amps on the 12v rail/s to drive both cards. Your motherboard is fine for cf, and it's probably not a malfunctioning second PCIE slot considering that the second card is being detected in your device manager.

If you didn't use AMD's automatic driver install, you narrow it down by R9 2xx series.

Edit: If you have GPU-Z, see if it wont display information about your second card or if cf has somehow been enabled by default while still not having the option to manually set it. If you don't, maybe try it.
