Hi, writing from mobile, excuse me for spelling.

Manual says install fans as intake for best performance, but shouldnt the fans blow air thru the radiator? The fans and radiator are mounted inside on the top

yes.. it means fans should be pulling air into the case.. (from outside of case).. they will of course also be pulling (or pushing) air through the radiator,

I know English is a rich language.. so ambiguity is difficult to eliminate.. some common sense can help..

When I said "fans should be pulling air into the case.. (from outside of case)"
I don't mean the fans.. I mean the Air should be from outside the case..
Instead of pushing/pulling the air from inside the case.. through the fans and out

Im sorry, for some reason I didnt "find" where u said litteraly regarding the fans.. Lol, read too fast hehe. And English isnt my native language, im Swedish.

Anyways, I installed the radiator inside the chassi, on the top fins, and the fans installed outside the chassi above the fins, as intake. [The fans blowed the air thru the radiator, aka the fans blowed air downards.] (On my Zalman Z11 Plus)

Though, I removed the watercooling as my stock AMD heatsink retention bracket/module is missing, and I didnt find my home-solution safe enough, lol... 2 red stripes.. Sure, it worked, idle temps was 33-35C with fans on ~20%, full load 45-50C with the fans on 50%. The noise in full blast were too much, lol.. Like a jetturbine.

So im back with my Hyper 212 Evo unfortunately. Tho, I got push-pull now, but its just like 1-2C difference..

Woho, I figured out a new solution, and its pretty decent actually.. I installed it with Intel's mounting bracket instead, and then I just rotated the pump/cpu heatsink so I could get 2 screws in diagonally. Decent eh?
