I do alot of video editing and gaming. And i am wondering which build, is better. Please do not give me an answer "get the i5 blah blah blah". I currently have a core 2 duo, and I want to keep the pc for 5+ years without any upgrades.

Just FYI, the most recent processor is the Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4 GHz .

For video editing, and if you have a discrete GPU, then you get a slightly better "workhorse" CPU without the burden of integrated graphics for a slightly lower price.

id get the #3 and change the power supply to higher quality one such as xfx 550 watt one also id personally spend the extra $ to get the new gtx 970 in that build
