Few days ago, almost a week, i bought a brand new GPU and now my CPU is bottlenecking. Anyway i figured it out, i had to do some changes to CPU performances, to lower them and now i'm not dealing anymore with the heating. However the CPU Usage still sometimes go up to 100% when i play a game so i deal with FPS drop issues and i'm trying to fix that. ( i do like 40-45 fps and after 1 min i go with 10-15 fps and then again 40-45 and then again 10-15 ).
What i actually want you to do is to tell me what's the best graphics adjust so i can use more the performance of my GPU and less the one of my CPU. So i decided to throw some settings below and you have to tick with "1" for CPU, with "2" for GPU using and with "3" if it uses both.
( I took the settings from a game called Euro Truck Simulator 2 )
CPU : Pentium Dual Core E5200 @ 2.0 GHz ( because of the bottlenecking )
GPU : GTX 750 OC 1GB GDDR5
Here we go ! :

Scaling ( from 50% to 125% ) - ?
Antialiasing MLAA - ?
HDR - ?
DOF - ?
Sunshafts - ?
Color Corection - ?
Reflection Detail - ?
Vegetation Detail - ?
Grass Density - ?
Shadow Quality - ?
Shadow Texture Size - ?
Weather Quality - ?
Mirror Quality - ?
Mirror Distance - ?
Texture Quality - ?
Anisotropic Filtering - ?
Normal Maps - ?
Traffic Headlight - ?
Secondary vehicle lights - ?
Light Visibility Ranges - ?
Pedestrians - ?

Please do your best and help me with this FAQ :)
Thx. !

put everything at lowest. Anti aliasing off. If it doesn't help, you might need to change the whole computer.

Even if you over clock your chip, it might not be noticeable.

That old CPU is definitely going to bottleneck, no matter what you do. What is your current motherboard?

Well there must be a way to not do that... I mean i bought this new GPU to improve my graphics performances, not to lower them :) ) Even before i was running it with low-med graphics with a Radeon 3400 X.X

Foxconn G31MX but i heard that you cannot overclock your CPU

Is it possible to ?

I would upgrade your CPU to a Q9650 from Ebay. Anything better would require a new motherboard and ram too. The Q9650 would at least put you close to sandy bridge i3 performance.

well i'm from Europe so i guess Ebay does not deliveries in Europe too ( with no delivery taxes ) and i bet that a delivery from USA to Europe would cost almost twice of a Q9650 which isn't available in any online store from my country ( i searched for that ) so buying a new CPU isn't the best sollution a.t.m...

Any other way :) ?

Did you look at the UK Ebay, I doubt that there are no sellers in your country.

I guess you could try overclocking the FSB...

Otherwise, a full CPU, Motherboard, and Ram upgrade could be about $200 around here for a new pentium/maybe i3 and 4GB of ram(I don't know what prices are in Europe :/ )

I made a quick list of parts that you would need for the cheapest possible upgrade thinking that you have an ATX Motherboard. Just realize that I do not know any of the merchants and am not fully sure of the reliability of them.

Sorry, but with that CPU you have only three possible solutions: upgrade your entire platform, upgrade just your CPU with a Q9XXX or OC your CPU really high.

Still, you may never be able to get all the performance the GTX 750 can give if you stay with that pentium, even if you manage to OC it.

There are European divisions for Ebay. ;)

The performance of that CPU is just too low to keep up with that GPU. An upgrade would be needed to keep up with that card.

well i.. thx you all but this thread isn't yet solved, or at least not in the way i wanted to get solved...
But as i choosed a Best Answer i guess it's indeed solved so thx again for support and see you on the next thread ;)  ( maybe then i'll be with a new CPU )
( and of course finding another issues about it )
