Hello!

I have just installed a new motherboard and a new processor in the computer. Sometimes I get a blue screen suddenly. Sometimes, the computer freezes and the sound starts to crackle / rustle. After a blue screen, I get "BCCode: 3b" error message. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate. I have tried to re-install Windows 7, but i doesn't help.

Computer specs are:
Gigabyte z97x gaming 3
Intel core i5 4690K
MSI GTX 760 2GB Twin Fozr
Corsair 8GB RAM @ 1333mhz
500GB HDD

I am grateful for any help!

What power supply? Any overclocks? Have you run Memtest for at least two complete cycles with no errors? Were your windows install(s) complete installs with a format of the disk?

I had the same problem just 2 days ago. What you have to do is use a brand new or formatted HDD with no data on it and install windows on it while it is in the computer that is having problems

Hmmm, very strange. Try to do a system repair and see if that works

My friend suggested turning up the dram voltage from 1,5v to 1,65v. Any ideas about that?

Try taking out all your RAM and booting up with only one dimm in. My computer was down clocking my ram and I couldn't boot with more than 4 sticks until I made the frequency what it was supposed to be. Maybe you can look into that and see if that's what is going on
