I have been at this for a month time for some help. I have a 3tb seagate hdd i am trying to format as 1 big storage drive. I am trying to convert to gpt using aomei. problem is the 3tb drive is showing up as 2 disks (disk 2 and disk 4)insted of different partitions on the same disk. The small 746gb is showing as gpt and the 2tb showing as mbr. there is no option to convert to gpt on aomei or windows disk management. what the heck is going on?

Solution
Problem solved
I removed the hdd from my hot swap and put in back in
Then restarted so I could initialize as a gpt,
Then I d/l seagate discwizard and it fixed the problem on its own it must come with a driver because it showed the 3tb hdd back on one single disc so i formatted the unallocated 745mb and boom 3tb.
That's something I never want to go through again.

Update they are both GPT now but disk management and all other programs still show the same hard drive as 2 disks (Disk 1 and disk 3) and it wont let me extend the volume(its greyed out)
