Hello.

I've searched the forums trying to figure this out but none seems to have this problem under the same circumstances that I do and no solutions have worked out yet so i made this post.

I've been having this problem for about 3 weeks now, it only started to happen once I had done a fresh install of Windows. I've since done another 2 re-installs of Windows, which will work fine for 2-3 days before it starts to happen again.

I'd like to point out that there have been no changes in the system since the install.
Also i do not overclock and have never touched anything in bios.

What happens is that when trying to play any video, it will freeze, screen will go black for a sec and when it comes back on, i get this error message in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

"display driver AMD stopped responding and has recovered"

This happens mostly when watching a video on youtube or watching streams but I've also gotten crashes just by browsing websites, but that rarely happens.

The thing is, this tends to happen within the first 10 minutes of the day since I've turned my computer on and when this has happened, trying to play any video will instantly result in a repeated crash and I'm forced to restart my computer. But once I have restarted my computer, the problem will cease to happen for the rest of the day, unless i turn it off and leave it so for a while.

This is what makes no sense to me and what has made it really difficult to troubleshoot this thing.

Here's a list of things I've tried so far:

- Reinstalled windows (2 times)
- Reinstalled driver
- Tried using an older version of the driver
- Disabled Windows aero
- Tried using another browser (I use FF, tried with Chrome)
- Tried Microsoft fix-it
- Run memtest86 (no errors)
- Replaced RAM

System specifications:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850
GPU: r7 250x
RAM: 2 GB
MOBO: Asrock P5B-DE
PSU: Cooltek 600W

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

The thing that has been most successful so far is uninstalling the driver, which resulted in no errors for 3 days until i tried installing and older version of it, then a day went by and the errors were back.

Thanks for reading through this, I could really use some help with this one.
