Just about every program including Internet Explorer is giving me Not Responding issues on XP Home. Any advice please?

You may very well have gotten a virus..... Have you heard that XP is no longer supported? I recommend a scan with AVG, cleaning and updating to Windows 7 if possible.

Did you try simply a reboot and see if that fixes it? And as above, did you do a virus and spyware scan?
