i have recently installed a new graphics card and now i when i boot the pc sometimes it black screen after booting to the home screen - windows 7 and i have to restart to get picture back then it dont happen, but its like a 50/50 chance i havnt had enough time yet to see if it happens randomly whilst i use it but i have been on for a solid 6hrs at times and it dont happen only sometimes after starting up.

my pc specs are
b75 pro3-m
xfx 850w psu
radeon r9 290x ASUS 4gb
16 gb ram
1tb hdd
i5-3470

could this be a faulty gpu? i have checked gpu drivers up to date and monitor

Also it has nothing to do with the gpu itself, it's posting just fine and play games at a very good temp, my opinion is the driver or the harddrive

Haven't tryed this yet, what driver version should i revert to that was last known stable? also if i left it how it is, would it harm my computer in anyway. haven't had any bsod's yet and when it black screens the comp is still running i just restart it
