I want to build a good modern gaming/multitasking computer that runs windows 7 complete with monitor that won't be outdated in a couple years. I need a hardware recommendation list. I was also hoping to keep it under $1500 if possible. Thanks

Wihout any other guidelines here is what I came up wiht, and it leaves you with a little over $100 to get whatever keyboard/mouse fits your needs.

Best i5 CPU (i7 does nothing to help for gaming), 16gb ram since you said for multitasking, SSD drive for speed and HDD for storage, GTX 770 will play any game very well, 23" IPS monitor, everything else good quality parts.
