i have an Intel® Core™2 Duo E6750 2.66Ghz CPU and i want to buy a nvidia geforce GTX 750 Ti GPU but my motherboard doesn't support them both so i'd like to know what motherboard should i buy...

Solution
The CPU is on the support list for that motherboard, but your problem will likely be the PCI Express X16 slot. It is likely PCI Express 1.0 or 1.1, which may not be fast enough for the GTX 750Ti you had in mind. However, if you could find a later Socket LGA775 motherboard, using P35 or P45 chipsets, that should get you PCI Express 2.0 slots, which will certainly help with the GPU. You may have to go with a used motherboard for that.

What motherboard do you currently have?

The Core 2 chips use socket LGA775, which are no longer used on a motherboard, so you may have trouble finding a board for your processor. It may be easier to replace the CPU and RAM at the same time.
