Toshiba hard drive on Mac

I just bought the 1TB Toshiba hard drive and when i click on the setup.exe it pulls up a text box in like japanese and says cannot run in DOS mode. I went into the Mac folder and installed the Tutera NTFS and it still didn't work. HELP

you dont need the Toshiba software, If this to be used only on a mac then format it using the mac to its native hsf+/Max extended. If this will be used both on mac and pc then format it to either fat32 or exfat (both are natively compatible with both OS's).
