So I have a 9500 GT DDR2 and I got it at 715 MHz from 550 (msi afterburner says 715 but it's actually 717). I feel that I might not know what an artifact really is.
Is it on like items? Like a pole or something in a game. Do they just show up and instantly go away really quick like small dots?

video where you can clearly spot artifacts

So is that what i'm looking for? These aren't extreme cases are they? Because wow then... i've been looking for little spots of color that is messed up.

Well obviously I was also making sure i didn't see this. But I thought it was like pixel sized dots etc.

You can have small artifacts like 1 pixel on the screen or big ones where it seems like the game is gliching itself. There are many videos on youtube about them and how to fix some as well
