Are they compatible?
Yes
LGA-2011-0 (SandyBridge-E and IvyBridge-E consumer models as well as Xeon E5 models), LGA-2011-1 (Sandybridge-E and IvyBridge-E Xeon E7 models), and LGA-2011-3 (Haswell-E models to date) all use the same mechanical specifications. The only difference between the sockets is the keying which prevents them from being inserted in an incompatible motherboard. The mounting holes, socket height, and mounting force are all the same.
