Im uncertain if its my ISP or my router that is giving me ungodly ping its always 500+ i have decent internet speeds, but i dont want to spend 2 hours in costumer support just for them to tell me its my router Help me!

Connect your computer Ethernet port directly to the modem bypassing the router and check using pingtest.net.

What model is the modem? Is it truly a modem or is it a gateway (essentially a modem and router combined)? Are you making a wired connection? Do all devices attached (assuming that you use more than one) have high latency or just some?
