Hello!
I have a serious issue regarding audio and network issues on my new computer with Windows 8.1, which has resulted in no internet or audio.

I recently purchased a Lenevo x510 desktop PC and up until early this morning, it was running fine. until I decided to give it a restart. As soon as I logged on I noticed that there was a red cross on both my audio as well as my wireless internet symbol. Upon inspecting the audio and wireless internet drivers (in device manager), the network adapter 'Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter' had a yellow error symbol on it. When I right clicked into properties, the status read 'The device cannot start. (Code 10)'. As well as this, under system devices, the two existing 'High Definition Audio Controllers' had a yellow error symbol on it. In properties, again the 'Code 10' error message could be seen, as well as 'Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API', which I don't quite understand.

My general computer specifications:
BRAND: Lenevo
SERIES: Erazer
MODEL: x510
PROCESSOR: Intel i7 -4770k 3.5GHz
PROCESSOR MAIN FEATURES: 64 Bit Quad Core Processor
MEMORY: 16GB DDR3
GRAPHICS: NVIDIA Ge-Force GTX 760 2GB
OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 8.1

I have never experienced this issue before, and came as a shock. I've tried reinstalling the drivers of both the audio and the wireless network adapter, and still, the same 'Code 10' error exists. I've viewed about a 1000 forums, done numerous reboots., system restores and fixes however none have changed the state of the wireless network adapter and the audio drivers. The drivers were the right ones, downloaded from 'http://support.lenovo.com/au/en/products/desktops-and-all-in-ones/lenovo-erazer-x-series-desktops/lenovo-erazer-x510-desktop?tabName=Downloads' which provided the correct and updated drivers for the computer. I installed them yet as soon as I did 'Scan for hardware changes' in device manager, the error message came back again.
I'm currently typing this using Ethernet internet which obviously works. It's just the wireless network driver as well as the audio controller drivers. I've also disabled and enabled the drivers, cleared up the registry and nothing seems to work.
The only potential cause could have been via a program a installed on the same day of the errors coming up, called 'CCleaner'. I have had very good experiences with this program prior to my new Lenevo x510 on other computers and has worked perfectly. Within CCleaner is a 'Cleaner' which cleans out things like 'temporarily internet files, download caches etc.' which supposedly makes your computer run faster. I also did a registry clean which is another built in feature. It 'cleans' up the registry, which is where I think CCleaner may have had a part in the driver mess up, though I'm not sure as this software has earned itself a good, solid reputation around the web.
That is one possibility, but it's still doesn't make sense why after trying basically every possible resolution, the same issue exists. If anyone could provide a solution, it would be great!

Solution
After hours upon hours of being stumped, I eventually did a Windows 8 System Refresh and this was a lifesaver. In just minutes, all my problems were resolved, for just a few sacrifices of my files! I can't thank Microsoft enough for this one!

I'm going to have to call this solved!

Just an update. I just noticed that in Device Manager, I don't have a drop down menu for audio input/output or a drop down menu for sound, video and game controllers. Not sure if this will help?
