I think there's a windowed version of the 300r. Otherwise, Razer's case is really nice as well. Razer, I don't understand why you match the i5 4430 and z87 mobo with the newest nvidia cards when he can afford the i5690k and z97 for just $30 - $40 dollars more. It's better for future proofing.

I thought about that concept for a while and concluded by the time the haswell i5 is "obsolete" a new motherboard and CPU will be needed. And I don't mean Broadwell.

It's like how ivy bridge owners really don't have a need to upgrade to haswell right now.

I paired the 4430 with the Z87 because the motherboard only costs $90 and it comes with a free stick of 8GB ram.

I'm not sure about this, but aren't there some games that are more reliant on the cpu so an overclockable i5 would be better for those. But I guess this depends on what the OP wants to play.

Not for the same price, but for a few dollars more you can get

Like I said, it's probably not a big deal. I just think that if I were to build an expensive desktop I would spend a few dollars more on each part just to make sure it's from a good brand.
