Well if you have $20 for a cooler master hyper 212 evo I would.. but others just don't seem the point. Do you want you pc to run quite, lesser tpd (lower power consumption) and just keep your temps low then i would get a 212 evo. also hows the temperature of your room. if it gets hot often i would get a cooler

If you are not overclocking, no you do not need a cooler, but if you have the money a 212 EVO wouldn't hurt.

Also, Bhavneet, a cooler WILL NOT lower the TDP. That is not how it works at all. The CPU will use the same power and make the same amount of heat, the better cooler just dissipates the heat better.

Well it cannot. That is not possible. The CPU will use all the power it needs, no matter what the temp is. CPU USAGE is what determines how much power it pulls, not the temperature.

keep it simple. Stock coolers are fine.
I use one and never had issue with heat. sits at 30c to very max 49c
even when i have overclocked still not to high.
if you are keep standard clock maybe look at passive cooler 0dB
