I am basically a noob at selecting graphics card. I am upgrading my old XPS 7100 which has the following config:
AMD Phenom 2 X6 1090t processor
8 GB ram
not sure of motherboard, but I know it has 460 watt power supply.
Radeon 6450 graphics card.
Full HD 23" dell monitor.

I mostly be using it for multimedia and games like NFS and FarCry etc.
I am upgrading my graphics card to GTX 750 ti 2 gb, mostly because it's in my budget and I am getting good deal on them. I have two options to either buy the ASUS or PNY brand. I went through the threads here to learn how to differentiate between two brands of the same graphics card. However, I am still confused. These are the links of the graphics card:

Please help me select the right one. The ASUS I can get in $115 while the PNY I can get in $100. What's the basic difference. How to decide based in their specifications? If ASUS if better, is it worth $15 difference?
If you know of any links that explains how to differentiate between two graphics card brands based on their specs, let me know.
Thank you.

The difference is that the ASUS one has a higher clock rate, probably because it has a bigger cooler. I'm not sure that it's worth $15 more, however.

I'd say no contest, get the Asus, because of the cooler alone. If it fits your case.
I hate noise.

Asus is the better brand, and the largest card and board maker in the world. For what that is worth. All brands are pretty dependable today though.

The Asus is clocked a little faster
