Overclocked i7-3770K Voltages?

I've recently overclocked my i7-3770k to 4.5Ghz. My temperatures are great. Highest I've seen is like 40C after hours of gaming.
So, basically, I just wanted to know if these voltages and all are safe.

My Vcore oscillates, not sure if that's normal.
Is my VID or Vcore what I should worry about?

40c for 1.4v would be amazing. I suspect a typo.

I prefer getting temps and voltages from bios/uefi. More accurate.

Even in bios my temps are extremely low. If you wish, I can photograph. However, they're typically lower since there was no stress from a game prior.

What's Vcore in bios/uefi?

It says 1.280 and it's at 30.0C You see, I did'nt follow a guide, so a lot of my things like PLL is auto and my voltage is offset mode. I glanced at the linked guide and it said I should change these things. Should I go ahead and try that?

1.28 should be OK to get to 4.5GHz.

So, the fact that my settings are at auto it can't be they my voltage is shooting up when it's getting to 4.5? Is the cpuid software just inaccurate or what? I know I'm asking a lot or questions, but majority of my settings match nothing in that guide.

Manually set my voltage to 1.24, changed my CPU llc to ultra high, and CPU capability to 120% and it worked. Anything dangerous?

Just keep your eye on temps. Don't use HWMonitor. Use bios/uefi.

Test the OC eg using OCCT or Prime95. To see if it BSoDs or gets too hot (over 75C). If its OK then it should be fine.

The linked guide BIOS suggestions are really overkill even for the 4.7ghz overclock he was after, manual voltage setting and the LLC on Ultra High is just fine for your overclock goal.

I run my 3770K at 5ghz (Check CPU-Z validation in the sig), and some of his BIOS settings are set more aggressive than mine are,
the main question I have for you is what are your load temperatures under stress testing for stability?

And how do you have C1E and C-states setup in your BIOS?

My C1E is enabled. C3 and 6 are disabled and C State Support disabled. I've lowered my OC to 4.3GHz with a voltage of 1.216 and it seems stable. Prime95 tested for about 30mins. I'm still aiming for 4.5, but I'm using offset right now and using +.010. What do you think would get me to 4.5? Auto slammed it up to 1.52...

Oh and my highest temperature at 4.3 was 41C.

I think you'll have to go to 1.25 for 4.5. But what you've done so far seems good.

I gotta be honest, I'm really just lost at this point. Anything I try to do past 4.3, along with the voltages, just results in failure. I guess the easiest way to put this is that I don't want to set my voltage manually because it'll be a consistent voltage and speed, I'd rather have the offset. When I set my offset +.080 with 4.5 it runs at 1.28 and it seemed pretty stable until two of the eight threads had some error. Should I just throw in the towel at 4.3? Oh, and I tried 1.25 manually at 4.5 and it either bsod immediately or bsod with prime95.

I'd leave it at 4.3. Some chips just don't OC as well as others. But I'd also keep Googling to find what else can be done.
