I've just recently built a new gaming rig... Literally last week.
Now all of a sudden i'm having issues the with gpu.
I'm running a gtx 780 sc with acx.
The problem is once i load up windows the screen goes blank as if their were no hdmi ports connected to my card.
I've tried reinstall drivers as well as reinstalling them in safemode. It worked for about 30 minutes then the issue rose again.
When it happens i can hear the fans of my card as if they were under full load.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Check the temperature of the CPUs and the card and the CPU, the two links below measure your GPU temperature and the core temperature. If its not that, we can rule out that conclusion.

Cant because i'm unable to see anything ince the screen goes black. Which is right after the os loads. Although on my mobo temp reads 38-39*C for cpu and about 28*c for the gpu

I'm assuming its a corrupted drive maybe, possibly a corrupted file in the bios which is causing this to black screen. Try and reset the CMOS see if that works.

Still the results were the same. I feel the solution is simpler than it seems in that I just have a faulty GPU.

Try clearing cmos and placing the card in another slot. Check if you haven't disabled any pci-e slots on your mobo if you have this option. usually placing the card in another slot will solve this as it sounds to me that windows is messing up some settings once it booted.

I tried that the first time it happened, still the problem persists. Cmos was to no avail.
Could it have something to do with my psu? I figured 750w should be plenty for 1 stocked card but i could be wrong.
