This build should work.. I picked the cheapest IPS LED LCD 1080p i could find and i didnt choose memory because theres an offer with that motherboard it says it comes with a free 8gb set of Kingston Fury memory

If need be you could find a cheaper PSU

@Razer, your build doesn't have ram.

Edit: He also wanted it to be $750 before rebates.

Ic, Razer has the better build then.

Edit: Also my build takes rebates into account. It's only about 2 dollars over so I didn't stress about it. Razer's build is about $703 when you take into account merchants and rebates so the OP can afford a better case.

Edit: What I meant by taking rebates into account is that I ignored their impact on price.

Edited the one i originally posted.. This one is just about $730 WITHOUT rebates. As for the websites you prefer to buy from, NCIX Is a trust worthy site.. They're just lesser known.. so don't worry about that.

Edit: Also I have the better monitor and GPU.. If you're comparing mine and RazerZ build.. and case. Also a slightly faster CPU (.5Ghz)

@ohyes247 That's nice. Only change I would make is to upgrade the hdd to a WD Cavier blue or the seagate with the 64mb cache. I think the one you have listed is meant for servers. The increase in price still won't go over the budget. Razer's build has a better psu for the same price though. Yours have a better gpu.

Yeah the first one i put together i didnt really try lol just was like oh i think this and that.. This one i kinda actually tried lol.. And yeah ill go ahead and change it to a Blue, And PSU wise i figured the EVGA 500B would be good enough.. Mine runs an OC'd 8320 and 270X just fine so i figured with the lower TDP of the i5 and stuff it could easily handle it

I misspoke. When I said I took rebates into account, I meant that I count them into the total price before actually getting the rebate money.

I don't see how that Deepcool is any better than the Bitfenix I posted.

Also the 4460 may or may not work with the Z87 since it's a haswell refresh cpu. Swap the CPU for a 4430 and it will be a good build.

Also the XFX PSU is only a few dollars more and it uses higher quality parts.

In any case before rebates your build is still coming to $800.

You cant be serious, The 4460 has literally no problems with Z87's quick google will fix that, the deepcool is better for cable management and neatness.. A comparison in google images will quickly prove that.. And no actually its 749$ WITHOUT rebates or PROMOS

AND 6 cents cheaper than yours to be exact.

Yea was looking at the wrong build mb.

Google can't teach you everything, if you checked the motherboard's cpu support list you would see that the 4460 needs a BIOS update, meaning that there's a chance that the CPU won't even be recognized.

edit: ah good find, somehow missed the drive cages with the deepcool

Taking promos into account would make my build $16 cheaper than yours, but comparing builds using promos is useless anyways since a lot of them in in the next day or so.

What's important is that we do have a general basis of the build

CPU: locked i5
mobo: The Z87 with free ram
case: mid tower
PSU: 500W and above
ram: the free 8gb stick
Monitor 21.5" and above ( 21.5" is the minimum for 1080p)
HDD: 1tb
optical drive

btw the build you picked on your other post was basically the exact same as the first build I posted, just with a different case.

Well I'm off for today.

Errr... no? a 500W will be SUFFICIENT but will cut it close.. I can probably get you a 600w while staying in the 750$ limit
