bought this about 6 months ago for around 260$

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EM2JP4O/ref=oh_aui_...

want to upgrade to this:

http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-097...

not qualified for the step-up program :/

how can i upgrade it? is there a specific website to sell gpus on? or should i just sell it on ebay or amazon?
for how much?

also, will my CPU bottleneck the 970? (fx 6300 which i will be overclocking tomorrow to 4.3ghz when i get my hyper 212 evo cooler)

also my psu is 500W , not sure if thats enough, i heard the 970s are really power efficient

thanks

You can try selling on this website, eBay, craigslist, wherever. Price wise...it really depends...you can try something in the $150 - $175 range probably...of course price is subjective.

There may be a slight bottleneck, but it would be fine.

500 watt is the bare minimum for the 970, and depending on the specific PSU, you may need to upgrade to a 550 - 600 watts.

That psu should just be enough to run the GPU...but I would definitely upgrade first chance.
