Hi,

My laptop is able to detect other wifis but not my home wifi. I am able to connect to my home network using my phone and iPad. However, my laptop just doesn't detect it. Can you please help.

Get a cheap USB adapter for your laptop and see if that works. It could be you have a different type if wireless on the router and the laptop, but that's unlikely, if other devices can connect its not a faulty router or range issues. I would say it's a failing wifi card in the laptop, there are proper ways of testing them and you can try new drivers, but a new card costs next to nothing and takes ten minutes to fit. Just Google your laptop model and wifi card replacement. If you're lucky then you will find a YouTube demo.

Pop the laptop open, find the card, pop a new one in. Some makes will take any card, some need a white listed card

Hello Sidy8!

What I would try is to unplug the power cord connected to your desktop after shutting down properly, and press the power button 3 times, then plugging the power cord back in. If you have a laptop, take the power cord and battery out and do the same thing.

Let me know how things work! :)
