GeForce 780Ti Classified on Asus 97-A Mobo ... no display... please help.

Mobo: Asus 97-A
CPU: i5-4690
Memory 16G
Boot SSD: Samsung evo250G
CoolerMaster m2 850w
Graphic: EVGA Gforce780Ti Classified
OS: W7 64bit

Hi,
New machine. No overclock.
Sequence of events:
1. Onboard video works fine.
2. Plug in the new 780Ti card. Have display.
3. Driver update, no problem displaying thru HDMI afterward. Looks beautiful. Shutdown the system.
4. Power restart, monitor have no signal.
5. Pull the 780, replug HDMI to onboard graphic. Display is back.
6. Delete all nvidia driver, replug, 780Ti to PCI-e, no problem with display (basic 640 display)
7. Power down, wait two minutes (or more), no signal...

Please help! Appears everything is functional just happen after power cycle then the card won't cooperate! Tried different pci-e slot and same result

Have you gone into the BIOS and changed the primary display from onboard to PCI or PEG?
