Hi,

The card which i want to purchase is MSI R9 270X 2G;

http://www.msi.com/product/vga/R9_270X_GAMING_2G.html#h...

as per their requirement minimum psu should be 500w.

I am using silverstone SST-ST50F-ES 500watt psu ( 600watt at peak, as mentioned by the vendor )

Also, card requirement is two 6-pin connectors, but in my psu, it is one dedicated 6pin connector and 2nd is shared (6+2) pin connector,

so, could my psu support that msi card easily,

Thanks for the help!

Totally fine you can separate the 6+2 connector just be careful.

Thanks for the solution,

1) So this means it works fine even in peak condition, and also can I Over Clock it as msi mentioned;

" 1030MHz Core (Boost Clock:1120MHz) (OC mode) "
" 1030MHz Core (Boost Clock:1080MHz) (Gaming mode) "
" 1030MHz Core (Boost Clock:1050MHz) (Silent mode) "

2) Also what about heatup, bcoz the reason I want to replace my current EVGA GTX 560 SC, with that msi, is due to TOO MUCH heatup that it cause

Thanks

You can do whatever you want. Plenty of power. Unless you are running 5 drives and a dual cpu motherboard.
