i got a DELL Inspiron 15 laptop with AMD A6 processor and 2 GB R5 230M gpu Now the problem is that after updating all the drivers it not showing any dedicated graphics. AMD site recommends HD8500 M drivers but after installing that it is still not showing memory size or the dedicated graphics. System requirement lab is onlly detecting a 1GB HD 8500 m Graphics. please say me the solution so that i can see my graphics as R5 230 m 2gb

Uninstall those gpu drivers and download the ones from your laptop manufacturers website.

EVEN THE drivers from the manufacturer is not working properly......same results

Is there an AMD "dynamic switchable graphics" driver for your laptop?

not sure about it but the product lists that it has amd a6 processor with rd gpu and 2 gb or r5 230 gpu.....in the device manager it only lists microsoft generic display adapter and hd8500 and nothing else....

Hmm, might be a power problem, does it show up if you have the laptop plugged into the charger?

Might want to try going into your "power plan" settings in the control panel and setting it to high performance to test if it shows up.

yup tried that also but not showing anything in the amd catalyst control center under the hardware in primary adapter it shows microsoft basic display adapter and under the linked adapter it shows hd 8500 m but no size or any other details are mentioned

Try resetting your bios to defaults? Might have disabled the gpu somehow.

i have updated the bios.....nd now theproblem is that it is showing that i have a graphics card nut not of r5 series it is 8500 series and is of 1 gb.......god knows why did i buy a dell laptop

Not update, I meant go into the bios and select the reset to defaults option then save and exit.
