Can you give me more details on the problem itself?
Is this hard drive your boot drive? Is it the only HDD in your computer?
What is OS and how did you install it?
I suggest you create a system repair this or just try to install your OS from another media device.

If you have access to another computer with the OS that you want to install on yours, create a recovery CD/flash drive.
