Hi all,

I'm stuck with this big problem...
An hour ago i launched the application msi live update. And when i ran the search for drivers tool i found a new bios update. (V1.9) so i pressed "total installer" and after installing it, my pc rebooted and came with a big error message: "windows failed to boot, a hardware or software change might be the cause".
Even with my win7 usb i couldn't repair my computer.
I also flashed my bios with an usb (v 1.9 and v1.8) or pressed the Cmos button on the mobo.
but nothing seems to work...

After googling on the internet i found out that i'm not the only one with this issue.. they all say, never update your bios with msi live update, it can damage your mobo!..
So.. i'm stuck with a broken pc.

Is there any 1 who knows a solution to this?

Thanks in advance!

System specs:
I7-4770k
Msi mpower max ac z87
Msi gtx 780 lightning
Samsung ssd
8gb corsair dominator

Thats why you should never update it with a program in windows. Unless its UEFI.

People with ASUS PC's used to do the same thing with the ASUS program. Instead of downloading the BIOS and then loading it, they tried to get it over the internet / through the program and it froze while it was updating.

Unless that system supports something similar to ASUS mobo's (Crashfree BIOS), you may or will have to buy another BIOS for it.

Or if someone you know has an Eprom programmer, flash one for you
