My hard drive broke

I bought a 2TB Seagate Expansion Drive (STBV2000100) with the intention of removing it from the enclosure and putting it directly into my computer. I put it in my PC and it showed up, all was fine, but it was only 232gb, so I did what was necessary to create a new simple volume as I was instructed, but halfway through creating the volume, disk management crashed and now my drive isn't showing up in disk management or device manager, it is showing up on the bios however.

Please help, I don't want to find out I just blew 100 bucks

Because the nearest shop that sold a bare barracuda was 40 minutes away and the difference would have been negligible after counting petrol costs?

And you have no way of ordering from a website that offers home delivery? Even if will cost more than that external one, it's still worth it. Your warranty is void if you remove if from the enclosure. Not to mention that an external HDD is usually an older generation and runs at lower speeds.

I live in Australia man, things aren't cheap over here, would've cost me over 100 to get it shipped to me, I just want this one to work, I don't care if it doesn't go at 7200rpm or anything
