Hello everyone!
I'm having some trouble deciding on what to choose for my Video Card, PSU, and possibly a Wifi Adapter.
I do have my PC built part way already, all I need to do is choose those parts that I need and then save up more money so that I can buy them.
Please use pcpartpicker when choosing parts for me!
This is what I have for my PC so far:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/L7ny8d
CPU - FX 6300. I plan to Overclock
CPU Cooler - Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO.
Motherboard - Asus M5A97 R2.0
RAM/Memory - Avexir Core series 8GB DDR3-1600.
Harddrive - Seagate Barrucuda 1TB
Case fans - two Rosewill RFA-120-RL case fans
Case - Thermaltake VL800P1W2N (Black/Red).
DVD Drive - Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
Keyboard - Dell Computer Keyboard Model RT7D20 (04N454)
Mouse - Dell Logitech Optical USB Wired Black Silver Scroll Wheel Computer Mouse 4P608
Headset - Plantronics GameCom 380 Gaming Headset
Mouse pad - just a simple black mouse pad, nothing great.
Video card - ?????? (I was thinking of either the R9 270X or the GTX 760)
Powersupply - ?????? (I definitly plan on Overclocking my CPU,
and maybe in the future adding more hard drives or maybe Sli/Crossfire, but not for a while)
Wifi Adapter - ????? (My mom and I don't have our own internet, one of our neighbors has internet that is unsecured, so we use that.
Even if we did have our own internet, I'm not sure that I would be able to use Ethernet because I can't think of anywhere to
put the PC in our living room and having the Ethernet cord being able to reach - we live in a apartment btw.)
Operating System - Linux Ubuntu. This will be temporary until I can afford Windows.

Basicly what I'm asking is what Video Card should I get, what PSU should I get (And would it fit in my case?), and finally
what Wifi Adapter should I get. My budget is $800. This means that you guys have about $400 ($392.64 to be exact)
to work with for the Video card, PSU and Wifi Adapter. (Because $800 - $407.36 = 392.64)

Thanks in advance!

Solution

I dont see any other changes to be done the build looks fine to me now.

Ohh yes just one more thing make sure that the case you are getting has more than 160 mm CPU cooler clearence for the hyper 212 and more than 10 inches of GPU clearance for the card.

I hope you will OC the processor and no it will not bottleneck the card and yes 550 watt is enough for the card the max TDP of the card is 145 watt and minimum PSU requirement is 500 watt even GTX 980 will run on a 550 watt PSU its max TDP is 165 watt the new maxwell technology is really power efficient and cheap the gtx 970 will out perform the gtx 780 and r9 290 with 10 - 15 % performance difference .

P.S: The 750w PSU will leave a lot of headroom for future upgrades, should you decide.

I meant if he plans to add a newer CPU or GPU, or build an entirely new system in the future, then this PSU will be of use.

I changed the PSU to a Corsair CX 750.

750w is overkill for a single card system. The motherboard isn't even SLI capable anyway. Even if it were, a 650w is still enough for two GTX 970 in SLI, as it would only be about 484w, before overclock with FX 6300 and SLI GTX 970.

CX and VS series from corsair are average PSU with poor capacitors and not suitable for a gaming PC.

Thank you for all your help!!
And yes, I actually already have all the parts in my parts list built except for the video card, powersupply,
and wifi adapter, and I can say that the hyper 212 fits (Just barley) and I also know that there is enough room for
the GTX 970 because I have looked at other builds using the same case on pcpartpicker and there are builds using much longer video cards then this GTX 970.
Thanks again!
