I am thinking which I will buy to upgrade my pc. Sapphire R7-250X 1gb DDR5 and A8-5600K are of the same price. If I will buy the gpu, will A4-4000 and R7-250X will do gaming in 900p med-high settings? How about if I will compare that to the performance of the APU alone?

This is the equivalent I think?
A4-4000 + R7-250X = Dual-core + R7-250X (equivalent to HD 7770
A8-5600K = Quad-core + HD 7560D (equivalent to HD 6570)

Solution
If your budget will stretch to it you could get an x4 750K + R7 250X thus getting you a quad core AND a discrete gpu.... http://pcpartpicker.com/p/shqM3C

If you can't afford that then I'd be tempted to get the A8 and save up for a discrete gpu later as the processor in the A4 is pretty weak.

Out of curiosity, do you have you heart set on an AMD build because you already have a motherboard? A Pentium G3220 or G3258 paired with an R7 250X would give a better experience than all the above solutions and provide more options for future CPU upgrades
