Neither - 2x overclocked 970's would be my vote. Much cheaper and faster than 780Ti's and probably on par with the 980's for a fraction of the cost.

This guy knows what's up. I agree completely. two 980s vs tow 970s is like 10 frames difference, but way above 60 fps so you'll barely notice (or won't notice at all).

Ive bought a 850 watt power source already will it use at-least 700 watts i know i can do it without using most of the power its just i dont want to waste the cash i spent already

Get the 970's! Best price to performance ratio! Lowest power consumption of all the three options presented here! It's a win win since it's SLI and not Xfire.

I would go for the 770's then. Your PSU can handle it as long as it's of good quality. Who makes your PSU?

Basically what i have is that power source, a asus maximus vii mother board, a i7 4790k just naming some of the components

Yeah you have a good PSU. You should easily be able to run those GPU's. Two 970's would be ideal. Sizzling is correct, two GPU's will cost more money in the electricity bill, but only when you run games. The second GPU shuts down when not in use.

thing is also im shipping parts from america so it will be cheaper here in aus a 970 is around $520 but in usa its around $360 so yeah
