I curently have a server that i run my accounts software on which has two 1tb disks on a RAID 1.
Is it possible to add a third disk, ideally 2TB, but set up as a single storage disk? The Raid 1s are both on a single sata3 connection and I have 4 sata 2 board connections. Am i right in thinking I could sinply install adisk on one of the sata 2 ports and the bios will do the rest or will this cause issues?

Hey there, Sb78!

As the community already answered, you can add a third SATA HDD.
After you install it, you need to enter BIOS and make sure that the SATA port the HDD is connected to is set to 'Auto'.
Otherwise Windows won't be able to recognize it. First, you need to make sure that the new hard drive is partitioned and formatted using Disk Management:

Hope this helps. :)
