Hi everyone (I'm new here so I apologize if I dont format this post quite correctly)!

I have a Sony Vaio laptop with an i3, Geforce 410M, 2GB RAM and running Windows 8.1.

I've had this laptop setup as a permanently workstation for a while, running a larger Samsung monitor off the HDMI port, and at the same time extending the display onto the laptop monitor. I recently disconnected all this as I needed to use the laptop elsewhere (no changes of software or hardware in this time, just disconnected the big monitor and the peripherals). Now I'm trying to reconnect it the way it was but it won't allow me to use both monitor at the same time. Some details:

1) In Windows 'Screen Resolution', both monitors are indicated, but it always disconnects one no matter what settings I use.
2) In the Nvidia Control Panel the same problem happens, but I get the message 'This GPU supports 1 display"
3) All my drivers are up to date, no changes were made since its last working configuration.

Any ideas?
