Hi everyone, I have this kinda weird issue on my notebook.
When I try to boot from usb (to install linux, as example), the screen shows the specific boot menu of the OS I'm trying to install BUT it freezes there and I'm not able to use keyboard.

This problem popped up after I reinstalled Windows7.

My notebook is an Acer Aspire 5935G.

Solution
The only things I think of are :
- a kernel panic, the core isn't found.
- a problem of harware, try with another distrib of linux on your usb.

Did you completly finish your new installation of Windows 7 ?

did you by mistake started again on your win 7 DVD at the boot after your new new installation ?
If yes, did you reboot during the "loading windows services from the dvd" ?

I'm sure I did everything right in that process.

Nope. In my case the boot is regular and then screen freezes.
