System wont POSt

I recently bought components for my new pc , but on assembling i didnt get display so i sent the motherboard for rma.. still didnt got the display so i sent the gpu for rma.. still didnt got the disply so i swapped the RAM slotand i discovered that each time i power on the system i dont get the display but on swapping the ram slot i get the display.. but on powering on again i have to change the slot,, pls help
 
Solution
It sounds like you may have faulty RAM or faulty RAM slots. You're going to have to "memory dance" to find out which is the problem. Not sure how many memory sticks you have, but you can test the machine with one at a time on different slots to see if it will POST. Keep doing this with the other memory modules until it fails POST, then you will find out what is the problem.

Solution
Another reason if you think you connected everything.

The mobo doesnt support the CPU you installed on it. The version of the BIOS on the mobo has to support the CPU.

Before it'll post. If it doesnt it wont post, or turn on

And make sure the ram is in the right slot/s. Oherwise it wont post either
