I’m moving to UK soon and I need to buy a PC case (without PSU, I already have) and a PC monitor for decent gaming. I got all the other components. I don’t want like very high-end products (too expensive) because I will be using it for only 1 year before I move back to my home country (I don’t want to take the case and monitor back with me when I finish my study there).

I was suggested to use Amazon as they are quite reliable and the price is alright. Please note that all my searches are items that are sold and dispatched by Amazon, as again I was advised that this would be helpful if I ever need to contact them for customer service support.

Case:
I really don’t know which one to get. However, I don’t want it to be too expensive, but not too cheap though. Also, please note that I have a big graphic card (Asus GTX 780) so I need a case that would fit it okay (my old one couldn’t fit haha). I don’t know what my budget should be, around 30-60GBP? Please advice me

Monitor:
Please advice me on choosing the monitor as well. I was suggested to get an “IPS” monitor, around 20-23” should be okay. I prefer to go with a brand that is quite reliable, such as LG, Samsung, Acer, Dell. All suggestion is welcome. My budget for the monitor is 150GBP or under. Please see the following link:

I’m also going to get a decent gaming mouse & keyboard, any suggestion?

Thank you so much in advance for taking your time to read this.

Any help is much appreciated.

Please note that I’m not in too much of a hurry, I want to get these maybe in 2-3 weeks.

My system:
Asus Geforce GTX 780
I5 2500K 3.3 Ghz
Ram 16 GB
1x Internal SSD 240 GB
1x Internal HDD 2TB
PSU 750W Thermaltake (bronze

If you want a gaming monitor you will want one that has low input lag and perhaps even 120Hz refresh rate or more.

Someone suggested IPS, which is a good technology for having very nice colours and viewing angle, but generally has high input lag and standard 60Hz refresh rate.
There are some gaming no-compromise IPS panels but those are expensive.

For gaming you will want a TN-panel which has less colour depth, but is way more speedy in general.

The BenQ Sora sugested looks very reasonable.

Alternatively, you could have a look at G-Sync monitors, which you can make use of with that 780.
They are somewhat more expensive but it will pretty much guarantee eyeball-licking smooth goodness.
Keep in mind G-Sync only works through a Displayport cable. (Any G-Sync monitor should come supplied with one though)

Freesync, which is similar to G-sync, which will apparently be adopted as a hardware standard somewhere in the future without the price premium or GPU restrictions uses a slightly different technology.
So the debate wheter or not it is as good as G-sync or even worth the wait is still up in the air.
