Hi guys,

I just finish building my new computer and seem to be having problems when I watch flash based videos. It happens happened twice so far and its been a week since I finished building it. What happens is if I try to watch a video the computer would freeze for a second then restart by itself.

This does not happen when I'm just watching just one vidoe. It mostly happens when I try to load up a video on firefox and on chrome. It does not happen all the time just randomly. It has been happening two days in a row after I updated my motherboard bios. So I'm not sure if its my gpu or not.

Here is my build.

Intel Core i7-4790K
ASUS SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK1
CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 16GB
NZXT Kraken X61
EVGA Supernova 1200 P2 Power Supply 80PLUS Platinum
AMD R9 295x

I ran the full 3D mark test without crashing and got a score of 15640 on first strike. I also downloaded HWmon and got readings of 35 degrees Celsius on idle, 45 with workload, and a high of 55 during the full benchmark.

I have no idea what is causing the random crash but if anyone could please help me it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Richard

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the browsers? And clearing their cache and cookies?

I have not but I will try that option. I keep thinking its something wrong with my parts so I wanted to seek advice on here to see if anyone thought it was my parts.

Your parts are fine if stress benchmark testing was carried out w/o any issues. Its most likely a software issue.
